MEMPHIS, Tennessee – Terminix Global Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: TMX), a leader in providing essential pest, termite, and mosquito control services to residential and commercial customers, today announced the start of Terminix Cares Week 2021, the eighth of theirs Annual charitable events.

Thousands of Terminix teammates in hundreds of local communities across the United States and Canada kick off the weeklong event with local volunteer and give-back activities. This year Terminix will support 15 national and 11 local partners and organizations working for causes such as health, hunger, mental wellbeing, social injustice, homelessness and education.

“Terminix is a team united behind one goal: To improve lives by protecting the most precious – families, homes, businesses and the environment – in the communities we serve,” said Brett Ponton, CEO of Terminix. “We’re a national brand that most consumers and businesses are familiar with, but our teammates have deep roots and relationships in each of these communities. Each of us understands the importance of serving others, be it a customer or a neighbor. Our teammates have a big heart and a generous spirit and we are grateful for this opportunity to give something back. “

Terminix Cares Week 2021 continues a virtual philanthropic program called Terminix Caring Steps, launched in 2020 to encourage volunteering and community engagement during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. For every step that each employee takes during the week and that is tracked via a mobile app, Terminix donates money to 26 non-profit organizations. This program will allow employees to give back while serving customers, working virtually, and staying socially distant – while moving a little.

This year, Terminix teammates across the country will be participating in Terminix Cares Week by unveiling the “plogging” desire. Terminix customers are also encouraged to attend this year as technicians and sales reps Collect canned food from customers who want to donate to local food banks.

“At Terminix, we pride ourselves on providing our teammates – and customers – with so many different ways to give back,” said Velvet Graham, Senior Director Events, Community Relations, and Culture & Inclusion at Terminix. “What began as a local service day with just a few dozen teammates has developed into an international, company-wide volunteer week. Our teammates and community partners around the world couldn’t be more excited for this great week! “
