READING, Pennsylvania – Honest Pest Control teamed up with Military Makeover with Montel to remodel a family home of Christopher Hixon, a U.S. Navy veteran and teacher who lost his life in the tragic February 2018 events in Marjory. attend Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

Military Makeover with Montel, broadcast nationwide on Lifetime Television, is designed to help members of our military and their families. Hosted by both Marine Corps and Navy veteran talk show legend and military attorney Montel Williams, this special series recruits conscientious designers, builders, landscapers, and other do-it-yourselfers to transform the homes and lives of military families across the country .

As part of Ehrlich’s commitment to the Hixon family, a team of Ehrlich Pest experts will conduct a comprehensive home inspection and bespoke pest assessment, install a termite bait and monitoring system on the outside of the property, and conduct a pre-clearance common pest control service for the home. In addition to providing pre- and post-construction pest and termite services for the home, Ehrlich is also planning other surprises for the Hixon family as part of the unveiling.

Ehrlich senior vice president of sales and marketing and an Army veteran, Mike St. Clair, was deeply moved by the history of the Hixon family and will be on location during the filming to meet with a group of local Ehrlich colleagues Volunteering South Florida.

“Christopher Hixon has dedicated his life to protecting the lives of others, first through the US Navy, then as a dedicated and beloved teacher at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School who does whatever is necessary to protect the students under his care,” said St. Clair made the decision to take part in the Military Makeover series. “It is Ehrlich’s great privilege to give back to his family and honor his legacy by protecting them and their new home from pests.”
