Local companies make Bulldog 100 alumni list | Companies

ATHENS – Two local companies made the Bulldog 100, a list of the fastest growing companies owned or operated by University of Georgia alumni.

Abundance LLC from Monroe and Breda Pest Management from Loganville made the 2022 list.

Chris Stallings, a 2000 graduate of UGA Terry College of Business, is an investment advisor with Abundance LLC. He founded the company in 2003 after working as an investment advisor at Morgan Stanley. Curt Little, who also completed his Bachelor of Business Administration in Georgia in 2000, was also awarded Abundance LLC.

Breda Pest Management dates back to 1975 when Rodger Breda (BBA ’73) started it in a garage with an employee and a customer. Four decades later, with more than 100 employees, it is one of the largest termite and pest control companies in the state. It remains a family business.

Each year, Bulldog 100 applicants are measured against the cumulative annual growth rate of their company over a three-year period. The Bulldog 100 2022 list is based on submitted financial information for 2018-20.

Warren Averett CPAs’ Atlanta office verified the information submitted by each company.

The UGA Alumni Association will host the annual Bulldog 100 Celebration on February 5th to celebrate these alumni leaders and count down the leaderboard to reveal the fastest growing company.

“These alumni demonstrate the value of a UGA degree, and we are proud to recognize them for all they have accomplished as leaders and entrepreneurs,” said Meredith Gurley Johnson, executive director of the UGA Alumni Association.

“These people serve as examples for current and future alumni of what is possible when persistence and innovation are used to offer better solutions and build stronger communities. We are excited to bring these alumni together with the university to continue to inspire leaders in our community. “
