Murder Hornet’s Nest found in Washington, USA

Government officials tagged several hornets and followed them back to the nest.

The WSDA is now working on a plan to exterminate the nest in the coming days.

The hornets are primarily found in East Asia, and several stings have been known to kill people. They were first spotted in the United States in 2019.

A small group of hornets is also capable of wiping out an entire beehive in a matter of hours.

Tests will be conducted to see if this nest is an offshoot of a nest that was removed in Washington state last October.

The public was urged to keep an eye out for further sightings.
